DESCRIPTION:We look forward to a great August 12\, 2023\, Schooling Show.\n\n \n\nOur 3-Phase Schooling Shows are a great opportunity for horses and riders to improve their skills and prepare for horse trials.\n\n \n\nIf this is your first time with us\, the show office is the only building in the parking lot as you enter our grounds on the left. Also\, in the event the gate is closed\, you will see a post with a button on the driver’s side.  Please press the button once.\n\n \n\nDavid Taylor our cross-country course designer will also be designing the show jumping course for this schooling show. DESCRIPTION:Majestic Oaks will be hosting the Area III Young Riders Camp. This is a benefit for the Young Rider Program\, but it is not limited to just Young Riders. In other words\, all of the Adult Riders who wish to attend camp\, please join us – you are more than welcome to participate!\nFor 2023\, we have an enriching program planned. The camp dates are June 8th – 11th\, 2023. Also\, to participate\, you must be a member of USEA and Area III Young Rider or Adult Rider program.\nThe camp requires all riders to show proof they have completed a minimum of 1 three-phase event at the level they wish to ride in at camp. This can be a recognized horse trial or a schooling show. What a great photo for your children to take back to school from their Christmas break adventures. \n\n\n\nWhat is the XTA Mounted Patrol Academy\n\n\n\nXTA Mounted Patrol Academy was born from a collaboration of three top Florida-based equine professionals\, X-treme Horsemanship\, Tailwind Trails\, and Ackerly Equestrian. They came together as guests at the South Florida Fair in May of 2021 for a Mounted Police Clinic. This was unlike any done before in the area. Under the lights of the Farris wheel\, an idea was born. \n\n\n\nWith overwhelming feedback from the participants and several roundtable discussions with industry leaders\, it became evident this was needed. Discussions addressing the training gaps\, lack of standardization\, and missions-specific challenges in Mounted Patrol Training found throughout the mounted law enforcement community. XTA Mounted Patrol Academy has been developed in response to those training shortcomings. \n\n\n\nOur unique partnership with Keiser University\, which spans both their Equine Science Department and their Criminal Justice Department\, makes this program unlike any other in preparing and equipping Mounted Patrol Officers and their equine partners to operate safely and effectively in a challenging environment. Tik will lead natural horsemanship sessions to help you build a better relationship with your horse!
