DESCRIPTION:The show begins on October 11\, 2023\, at 8:00 a.m.\, and the cost is $35.00 per class; entries begin at 7:30 a.m. the day of the show. Stalls are available at $35 per horse per night.\nMajestic Oaks Ocala Jumper Show is happy to host fun jumper shows for riders of all levels. Ribbons for 1st – 3rd place.\nAlong with this already being a phenomenal jumper show\, we will have newly designed courses by local professionals for our riders to enjoy! Also\, It should be noted that entry is accepted both on the day of the show and in advance. The cost is $35 per round.\nAdditional rounds may be added at the gate if you have an open check. What a great way to start the new year by meeting mounted patrol officers from across the state. \n\n\n\nAn expo and demonstration of the mounted patrol unit will be held at Majestic Oaks Ocala equestrian facility on January 2\, 2023. \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn addition to meeting officers from across the state\, you can watch as they do their fantastic drill formation riding. Also\, you can have your and or your family’s picture taken with the mounted unit horses. What a great photo for your children to take back to school from their Christmas break adventures. \n\n\n\nWhat is the XTA Mounted Patrol Academy\n\n\n\nXTA Mounted Patrol Academy was born from a collaboration of three top Florida-based equine professionals\, X-treme Horsemanship\, Tailwind Trails\, and Ackerly Equestrian. They came together as guests at the South Florida Fair in May of 2021 for a Mounted Police Clinic. This was unlike any done before in the area. Under the lights of the Farris wheel\, an idea was born. \n\n\n\nWith overwhelming feedback from the participants and several roundtable discussions with industry leaders\, it became evident this was needed. Discussions addressing the training gaps\, lack of standardization\, and missions-specific challenges in Mounted Patrol Training found throughout the mounted law enforcement community. XTA Mounted Patrol Academy has been developed in response to those training shortcomings. \n\n\n\nOur unique partnership with Keiser University\, which spans both their Equine Science Department and their Criminal Justice Department\, makes this program unlike any other in preparing and equipping Mounted Patrol Officers and their equine partners to operate safely and effectively in a challenging environment. DESCRIPTION:Majestic Oaks is hosting the ACE Winter Camp with Sinead and Tik Maynard again this year. \nThis year\, Winter Camp will follow a theme of “Energy and Education: Balancing Technique and Feel.” Participants will have the opportunity to experiment\, learn\, and explore these concepts together. \nRiders will receive three and a half days of instruction. Included will be dressage (including a judged fix-a-test using the 2022 USEF tests)\, show jumping\, and cross-country alternating between Sinead and Tik. Furthermore\, participants will enjoy a range of social activities from wine/cheese nights to BBQ dinners. Tik will lead natural horsemanship sessions to help you build a better relationship with your horse! Lunch will be provided to participants each day and one evening we will host a dinner and panel discussion with guest speakers. \nGuest Clinicians and talks include Peter Gray\, Natalie Hummel (https://nataliehummelwellness.com/about/)\, and more. \nThe camp is open to riders over 12 years of age (exceptions considered) and of all levels (beginner novice to intermediate levels recommended).
